REGISTRATION AT THE PORT OF JERSEY

Registration at the Port of Jersey is split into three different categories outlined within the above options.

All local craft must be registered with Jersey Harbours for sea-rescue purposes, and in addition they may be registered on the British Register (Port of Jersey) or on the Small Ships Register. Application for British Registry (Port of Jersey) is open to both individuals and companies provided they are qualified to own a vessel on the British Register.

For full registration and Small Ships Registration (SSR) please print the required forms and deliver or post to: The Registrar of British Ships, Economic Development Department, Jubilee Wharf, 24 the Esplanade, St Helier, Jersey, JE1 1BB. Please ensure the appropriate fee and insurance documents are attached if applicable.
